Soul music that reminds me of Tower of Power, this one hits hard and doesn't mess about. Melina Malone is smashing it here and her vocalizing is so on the mark, complementing the sunny upbeat production courtesy of Zaska that has this old slouch grooving away. Production here reminds me of the 9ts when genres were crossing over and jumping into bed with each other (so to speak) giving us a two-stepper that will have y'all smiling, hands in the air kinda vibe - you know the score. wacka wacka guitar, luscious strings and a hook that could drag a dead man out of his grave make this a joy - throw in a little guitar solo for a Yacht Rock vibe and here's a party tune if ever i heard one... dont believe me? just have a listen yourself.
